Interesting study

My friend is studying how individuals who have lost a higher-status job cope. The coping process lies between job loss and the next chapter of one’s life, but little is known about this. You can help change this, if you had lost a job as a (1) a professional (2) an entrepreneur (3) junior management and above, between the last two to ten years. You could have lost your job for any reason such as redundancy, market failures and personal accidents. You could be thriving today, struggling still or leading another type of lifestyle.
If you have 20-40 minutes of your time to spare for an online survey, you could go to www.chapterchrysalis.com. There, click ‘enter survey’, and click ‘I agree’ on the information+consent page to proceed.
By sharing your experiences anonymously, people who are facing or who will face job loss can have the right know-how to cope, and understand their experiences better. This can help them adjust better and transition into new and better prospects. Think about the last time you heard from someone who walked in similar shoes to you, and learned that what you thought or did was normal. Remember how relieved you felt? Let’s help other people know what is it like to walk in those shoes as they cope with job loss. Let’s help them to recover, and stride towards their new chapter of possibilities.
Please feel free to pass this on via email/facebook/your blogs. Big thank you in advance! ”

Sources of funding

Dear all,

I thought you might also have a look at different sources of funding available:

http://www.rcuk.ac.uk/Pages/Home.aspx

On the right side, there are different research councils, choose one that applies to you and see what funding options are available.

This website is also a good source of information for funding:

Hope this helps.
